24.0 x 17.cms, 281pp, contemporary full calf with richly gilt-decorated spine in compartments, engraved architectural title page, woodcut initials & diagrams throughout, includes astronomical & calendrical tables characteristic of late 16th century Renaissance mathematical publishing. Binding rubbed & worn with surface abrasion to boards, corners worn, joints starting but holding firmly. Some early manuscript annotations throughout, including marginalia to title & preliminary leaves. Interior remarkably clean with occasional staining/toning.
